Swelling may occur in the arms, face, chest, back, thighs, calves, knees, etc., following various traumas, chronic joint diseases, or surgeries.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lymphatic therapy consists of manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), mechanical lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging (compression therapy), exercises that improve lymph circulation, skin care, and counseling for the patient and their family members.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">All of these components support and enhance the effectiveness of the therapy. Complex lymphatic therapy is necessary when swelling does not soften with lymphatic massage alone and measurements do not decrease.
